Calista came from a sophisticated family with enough understanding, and she was never stopped to do what she wanted! Yet, the locality in which she resided had a lot of cats and kittens around them who were abandoned and lived on the streets.
She always wanted to adopt one, but due to her mother suffering from OCD, she couldn’t adopt them. Yet, she would play with them all day, feed them, and even look after their routines.
With time, one of the adult cats stopped littering because of dirty surroundings, and the residents weren’t ready to allow them access to a cleaner place. Calista couldn’t do anything for her, and the cat would cry in pain due to constipation. She took her to a veterinarian, but he couldn’t determine the exact cause. Soon, the residents started beating her and even tried to send all the cats away.
Somehow, Calista did manage to contact an NGO to look after them, and they cared a lot for the cats. One fine day, she visited the place to meet her feline friends, and they had Standard Operating Procedures for training cats. This was to use the litter box, clean it effectively, and even raise funds.
Gradually, things improved, and Calista joined the NGO in their efforts. With time, she was driven by a passion to become a veterinarian. Yet her knack and experience helped her specialize in litter box-related aspects, and that’s how she has begun Fresh Kitty Litter.
